I loved the atmosphere, and in a lot of ways, I think flixel was definitely the right way to achieve this. I was glad to be able to your notes after getting all of the endings, brief as they were I'd say they sum up everything that I loved about this.
The use of the small character to establish the idea of a huge, barren landscape with enormous land markers was excellent, and reminds me (somehow?) of games like Shadow of the Colossus or shorts like The Diary of Tortov Roddle.
I think I've found this somewhat inspiring, thank you.

It looks like I rated and faved this already but apparently I forgot to leave a review (2020 was a demented time, what can I say). But holy shit this is great. The number of references you were able to get in here (lookin at that chair edge design) and how they all fit together, plus the attention to detail on everything is just wild. Your rendering of the food is great, but the ramen in particular is on another level. Very belated huge appreciation for this!!

Maaaan these are so good, obviously I'm thrilled you included some of my stuff (and did a better job on the pixel gif than I could have) but I'm also surprised at how many of the classic references I instantly remembered. Newgrounds OG shit, but newer stuff too. This is fantastic
