damn

i was pretty much expecting this to be straight up stupid, and i guess that was kind of the point really, but the effects and texturing were out of control.

this really didn't look like just a flash and that made all the difference IMO.

holy crap

i thought i was going to dislike this because i generally dont like stick movies, but this was insane. the weapon effects were out of control, the camera zooms/pans/shakes worked perfectly and the occasional bullet-time slowdowns were just in the right places. excellent.

good marks for animation and general quality, but MAX marks for being so, so, so true.

...even though it raped my computer and the song kept playing for like 30 seconds after i closed the browser. haha, good work though it seems like it would be better on youtube where it wouldnt bend peoples' flash players over a table.

oh actually, one way to solve it might be to render it to video and then just make it a video within the flash file? kind of defeats the purpose of it being a flash movie in the first place, i guess, but it would definately run a lot more smoothly

you have some skillz, sir.
i particularly like the opening drawing of the dog, the line/texture/shading was pretty pro and you still dont see much of that even though its totally possible if you put flash in the hands of the right person. a little rough around the edges in a couple moments but overall very shiny and impressive. best of luck with maya, i hear that one has a biatch of a learning curve.

for some reason my last review on here was deleted for "not following the guidelines" even though all i said was that i agree with grumio's point, that is to say the point being made by THIS FLASH MOVIE HERE, that people's voting standards on newgounds are too low and that this movie should not have been approved because there's nothing to it and it was obnoxious.

the above statement contains my review of this flash, which is not in voilation of the terms, and you too can go suck it hard if you voted above 1 on this.

not bad

i was afraid that it was going to be retarded but it turned out to be pretty good.
captured a lot of the C & H feel and ideas pretty well. it could benefit from a bit of cleanup here and there, and maybe a scene of him running through the house with hobbes as a doll, showing his parents or something.... that'd be just about perfect.
