hmm
for some reason, even though this is definately totally unfinished, i kind of like the idea, maybe if it were in some other context. like if you could somehow combine this idea with that 'jetman' game that everyone plays on facebook, hm....

very nice
beautifully illustrated for its smooth simplicity and nice audio... its awesome the way the playing field sways a little bit too. this game really has a feel, which you definitely cant say for every game that comes through the portal. kind of repetitive but with enough nice touches to keep it appealing
holy shit
tom, i had no idea that you were a genius. definately one of the top 10 flash game engines ever
Good concept
Still needs a lot of work but has potential. The character movement is a bit on the slow side, if he's supposed to be a ninja then you should speed him up. Also it would be cool to see him have some alternate attacks or powerups (smoke, throwing stars, invisibility, whatever). Maybe make him able to hide in certain spots in the background too? i noticed that you dont die when you fall at the end of the level.... anwyays good job, finish it up and it could be awesome
Thanks for the feedback!
I'l keep the ideas in mind
not bad
the size is a little large for the display of this particular crappy work computer. bigger display size is better for flash games, in my opinion, but i always wonder how many people view these things on below-average setups. anyways, it seemed pretty smooth and playable except the direcitonal arrows didnt seem to function for me (might be just on my end though.... see "crappy", above).
Thanks for the review!
To move press W, A, S, D instead of the arrows.
hmmmm
i give you 2/5 for this completed version but 8/10 for the idea, it would be cool to have the keys correspond to keyboard keys, or to make it possible to add effects to the notes... the main thing i thought this needed was longer samples that would stop playing when the keys were released (OR you could somehow chose to let them ring out as you play). great concept, and by the way the response speed was fine for me so i dont know what that guy was on about :/
