I finally got a chance to sit down and watch this, I gotta say this is probably the single best thing ever submitted to NG, no shit. Awesome environment design especially, I loved how the relatively simple character design really helped to define the characters against the scenery. Great work!

Oh man this is just great, I can't even. As well as the fact that this is just straight entertaining regardless of nostalgia or anything like that, I also feel like your stuff has come really far in a pretty short period.
TECH ASIDE if anyone happens to care: the player is glitching mega hard for me in Chrome and I basically couldn't watch it :( I have this faved on YouTube though so I know it deserves at least a full 5

[Yotam's Dream]

Not bad for basically an animatic, some good detailed shots and I liked the size, I think it really worked well with the style. Nice take on Yotam and Max as well.

Aside from that though, 2 things:

First, I'm guessing you used a lot of bitmaps for this by the fact that the rough-assed pixels are showing like crazy. Solution: go into your bitmaps in the library section in Flash, select "properties" for each, and check "allow smoothing". Feels fucking good man, awwwh yeah.

Second, how the hell is this lagging so bad? Seriously, what everyone else is saying is true. I very definitely have a machine built to play Flash and I'm pretty curious about what could be causing the problem. If you think you might need a hand let me know.
